KISHTWAR, MAY 15: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav conducted a comprehensive visit to the Dachhan area of Sub Division Marwah to review the progress of several critical road-Bridge infrastructure projects connecting Dachhan to Marwah. He was accompanied by SDM Marwah Mohd Ashraf, ACD Phulail Singh, and the concerned Executive Engineer Mohd Aslam Lone, along with officials from Revenue, RDD and Police Department.
The DC assessed the development of the Ikhala Block Boundary Road extending from Dachhan to Marwah. He also reviewed the ongoing construction of a 45-meter Spanned Steel-Girded motorable bridge at Km 43 of the Hori-Sounder Road over the Kibber Nallah.
Dr. Yadav issued strict directives to contractor to expedite the pace of the project to ensure its timely completion.
The DC inspected the pending execution work on the 35-meter span Steel-Girded motorable bridge over Nanth Nallah at Suid Dachhan. He directed the executing agencies and the contractor to commence the work immediately to make the road accessible to the public of Sirchi, Dachhan.
During the visit, Dr. Yadav also evaluated the progress of the new hospital building at Suid Dachhan, which is being constructed under the Resettlement and Rehabilitation Plan of Pakal Dool HEP.
Dr. Devansh Yadav instructed SDM Marwah Mohammad Ashraf to resolve the issues, if any, to ensure smooth and timely completion of the hospital project.
The residents of Suid and Sewar Bhatti had an opportunity to interact with the DC, where they presented their grievances. Dr. Yadav assured them of prompt resolution of their issues.
Furthermore, the feasibility of the road from Dam Top to Tunder was assessed and RDD Dachhan was instructed to submit the Detailed Project Report (DPR) promptly.
