BARAMULLA, MAY 10: The Chief Executive Officer, Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA), today convened a meeting at its Tangmarg office to finalize arrangements for the upcoming Mega Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, scheduled to be held on May 11th and 12th, 2024.
The mega event being held under the overall supervision of District Election Officer, Baramulla, Minga sherpa and in collaboration with the GDA and Hoteliers Club Gulmarg, aims to enhance voter awareness and maximise participation of people in the Lok Sabha Elections in 1-Baramulla PC on 20th May.
During the mega SVEEP program a diverse range of engaging activities, including musical performances, plantation drive, sports events, and other meticulously curated activities will be held to educate and empower citizens about the importance of participation in the electoral process.
The meeting thoroughly discussed logistical arrangements, activity scheduling, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure the program’s seamless execution and maximum impact.
The Chief Executive Officer GDA emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in organizing a successful SVEEP program, highlighting the collective responsibility in promoting electoral awareness and active participation among the local community.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Gulmarg, CEO Baramulla (Nodal Officer SVEEP), DFO Tangmarg, DYSSO Baramulla and other officers.
