POONCH, In response to the directives of Director School Education Jammu and Chief Education Officer Poonch, Anwar Khan, the Principal of Cluster Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian, spearheaded a pivotal meeting with School Heads from the cluster today. The gathering, attended by 43 School Heads, including representatives from two High schools and two private institutions, addressed critical agendas aimed at enhancing educational standards within the cluster.

 

The meeting focused on the comprehensive implementation of various educational initiatives, including the PM Poshan Mid Day Meal program, Vidya Pravesh, Samikshak Portal utilization, and resource sharing strategies within the cluster. Additionally, discussions centered on the imperative establishment and maintenance of Kitchen Gardens, in line with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020 and maintaince of Daily Teachers by all the Teachers of the Cluster.

 

One of the standout decisions made during the meeting was the initiation of collaborative efforts to enrich the educational experience for students. A science expert from Higher Secondary School Sawjian will embark on weekly visits to High school Gagrian to conduct practical sessions for 9th and 10th-grade students. Furthermore, as part of the cluster resource sharing concept, students from High school Chamber will participate in class and ICT lab activities at Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian on designated days.

 

Anwar Khan, emphasizing the importance of curriculum alignment with national standards, urged all School Heads to ensure meticulous adherence to the Learning Outcomes Document issued by NCERT in their lesson planning endeavors. Later on Anwar Khan visited Middle School Khet and interacted with Staff, students and parents.

 

The initiatives and resolutions adopted during this meeting underscore the collective commitment of the educational community within the cluster to elevate learning outcomes and provide holistic development opportunities for students.
