Karnah, April 25:- Five persons were injured in a road accident in the Baghbella area of Karnah in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday eveing.

An official said that an accident took place at Baghbella when a private vehile bearing registration no JK09A 2865 met with accident resulting which five passengers got injured. “All of them shifted by locals to SDH Tanghdar for treatment from where all of them reffred to srinagar for advance treatment.

The injured identified as Rasiq Akhtar (33) resident of pulwama,Shabir Ahmad peer (30) resident of Handwara, Mudassir Ahmad Shah (24) resident of Handwara, Parvaiz (24), and Mohd Afzal Shah(35) resident of Handwara.

When traveling on this road, it is necessary to allow the car to rest periodically because the brake shoes can overheat during descent. This overheating increases the risk of brake failure, which can lead to accidents. Therefore, it’s important to remember to take breaks to let the brakes cool down.
