Srinagar, Apr 15 : – A male dead body was found floating over waters in Jhelum river in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Monday morning.

 

An official told that a male dead body was sighted by some locals at Mujgund area in Shalteng Srinagar today morning, who intimated the authorities about it.

 

Soon after intimation, a team of police reached the spot and shifted the body to SMHS for legal medical formalities.

 

He said a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.

 

The officer how’ver identified the dead body as Fayaz Ahmad Khan son of Mohd Shareef Khan of Khankha Mohalla Srinagar.(KS)
