UDHAMPUR, APRIL 10: A vibrant voter awareness program under SVEEP initiative was organized by District Election Authority, led by District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai, at Government Higher Secondary School Krimachi here today.

The event witnessed active participation of Deputy District Election Officer, Dr. Anirudh Rai, SVEEP Nodal Officer, District Panchayat Officer, locals, as well as staff members and students.

Students from GHSS Krimachi and neighboring schools showcased their talents through various cultural activities and patriotic songs. They engaged in creative endeavors like stone painting, salad making themed around SVEEP, crafting slogans using cereals and crafting Rangoli displaying the polling date in Udhampur district.

The highlight of the event was flying of kites adorned with ‘SVEEP’ inscriptions, adding a festive colourr to the occasion.

The Deputy DEO urged citizens to exercise their voting rights in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. He emphasized the pivotal role of every individual in nation-building and underscored the significance of each vote in shaping a robust government.
