KUPWARA, MARCH 26: The District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan today paid inspection to various election facilities established by the District Administration, to evaluate the preparedness for upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024 in the district.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Mohammad Rouf Rehman accompanied the DEO.

On the occasion, the DEO inspected Strong Room Kupwara and checked its functioning. She also paid a visit to District Election Control Room established at Information Office Kupwara and expressed satisfaction over its smooth functioning.

Expressing satisfaction with the overall preparedness observed during the inspection, the DEO underscored the importance of ensuring adhere to prescribed standards of Election Commission of India to uphold the integrity and fairness of the electoral process.

She reiterated the unwavering commitment of the administration in facilitating free, fair, and transparent elections, wherein every eligible citizen can exercise their democratic right with confidence and ease.

On the occasion, DEO directed the officers of concerned departments to put in place all efforts for smooth conduct of Lok Sabha Elections.
