Kupwara, March, 23: The District Election Officer(DEO) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan on Saturday visited Lolab Sub division where she conducted a comprehensive inspection of Polling stations, ARO’s election Control room at Sogam.

The inspection was aimed to evaluate the preparedness for upcomming lok sabha elections.
DEO inspected Polling stations at Dooniwari and Girls Higher Secondary School Sogam where she took appraisal of the arrangements, i,e basic minimum amenities such as electricity, water supply, sanitation facilities, and accessibility for differently-abled voters.

The DEO meticulously inspected Strong Room established at Degree College Sogam and reviewed the election related arrangements there.

DEO also inspected ARO Lolab’s election control room at Sogam where she checked it’s smooth functioning and directed the officials to submit the information timely.

While interacting with election staff, DEO reiterated the unwavering commitment of the administration for facilitating free, fair, and transparent elections, wherein every eligible citizen can exercise their democratic right with confidence and ease.
She inspected the SST(static Surveillance team ) Point, at Wavoora and interacted with the team.

DC later visited Diver receiving station, where she took stock of ongoing work of receiving station.
DC was accompanied by SDM Lolab and other officers.
