Sopore, Mar 09: In a commendable community initiative, CRPF 179 Battalion organized it’s maiden medical camp of the ongoing year in north Kashmir’s Sopore in Baramulla district, extending crucial healthcare services to the local residents.

The event on the direction of Battalion Commandant Officer, Santosh Kumar Mall at Chinkipora locality of Sopore featured free medical consultations, distribution of medicines, and various diagnostic tests.

A team of dedicated medical professionals from CRPF 179 and Sub District Hospital Sopore provided expert consultations to the attendees, addressing a range of health concerns. Free medicines were distributed to those in need, ensuring accessibility to essential healthcare resources.

The medical camp also offered diagnostic tests, contributing to preventive healthcare and early detection of medical conditions. The initiative received positive feedback from the local community, appreciating CRPF battalions commitment to the well-being of the residents.

On the occasion, 2IC Navain Kumar, CRPF CMO Dr Pravin Ranjan, Ajeya Kumar DC and other officials from the Battalion were present.

This community-driven effort reflects their commitment not only to maintaining public safety but also to fostering the overall health and welfare of the community.
