March 02:Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession.
A police party of Police Post Delina headed by IC PP Delina under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla at a checkpoint established at Delina Market, intercepted a person. During his search, 72 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus psychotropic substances was recovered from his possession. He was identified as Aqib Nazir Malik son of Nazir Ahmad Malik resident of Sangrama Sopore. He has been arrested and shifted to PS Baramulla where he remain in custody.
Accordingly, case under relevant sections of law have been registered at police Station Baramulla & investigations have been initiated.
