Unknown Person Jumps Into River Jhelum In Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 29 : An unidentified person jumped into the River Jhelum in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday.

A police official told  that they received information about an individual jumping into the river from the Safakafal bridge.

He said the team immediately initiated a rescue operation.

The official further said that the identity of the person has not been ascertained yet, and efforts are underway to locate the body. (KS)
