Advisor Bhatnagar visits Bhaderwah, inspects works ongoing developmental projects

DODA, FEBRUARY 11: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, who is on a two day tour of Doda district, today visited the Bhaderwah area and took comprehensive inspection of various ongoing developmental projects there.

Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Harvinder Singh; senior officers of district administration and other officers of line departments also accompanied the Advisor.

During the visit, Advisor Bhatnagar took detailed assessment of ongoing construction works at Court Complex here.

Interacting with the officers of executing agency on the occasion, Advisor Bhatnagar delved on them to accelerate the pace of ongoing works so that it can be dedicated for public use at the earliest.

The Advisor, during the tour, also visited Bhaderwah Fort to oversee the progress of beatification and other allied works. He discussed the issues stalling the progress of work with the executing agencies and gave directions to renovate the fort with the instructions of completing the work of the musical fountain in time bound manner. He highlighted that the musical fountain will add to the beauty of the fort and the tourists and visitors will have good recreational time at the fort apart from knowing the rich culture and heritage of the region.

Later, Advisor Bhatnagar explored the Guldanda tourist spot of the area and took onspot appraisal of the facilities available for the visitors there. He emphasized upon the officers to ensure cleanliness as well as other facilities in this picturesque place so that maximum tourists are attracted to this place.

He also called upon the officers to keep all routes leading to these spots open and hassle-free so that the visitors are facilitated.

During the visit, Advisor Bhatnagar also paid obeisance at the revered Maa Chamdi Mandir at Chimote and Gupt Ganga temple.
