Two Minutes Silence Observed on Martyr’s Day at all Police units of District Baramulla

Baramulla; 30 January_

Today on National Martyrs day and to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation) who was assassinated on this day in 1948, Baramulla Police observed 02 minutes silence in all the units across the district in the memory of all those Martyrs who have laid down their lives in the service of nation.

It is pertinent to mention here that on every year, 30th January is being observed as National Martyrs day/Shaheed Diwas all over the country in the memory of Martyrs who have laid down their lives during freedom struggle of India.

The main event was held at DPHQ & DPL Baramulla in which senior officials took part and observed 02 minutes of silence to pay homage to the National heroes who have made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the Nation.
