School for sightless girls at Roopnagar , Jammu . Chief Guest of the program was Ex. Chief Minister and chairman of DPAP Mr.Ghulam Nabi Azad Grace the occasion and guest of honour also part of the program namely Ex- Ministers R S chib , Jugal Kishore Sharma , Garu Ram ,DPAP Media Incharge & Spokesperson Vishal Chopra , Anita Thakur Gurmeet Kour , Fatima ji Prabha Slathai , Maheswar singh, Abhishek kapoor , mahinder kumar , kulwant singh, Gourav chopra ,Anil kholi , shammi slathia , john , manik sharma and many More Were Presented In This Programme General Secretary National Federation OF THE Blind J&K M K Badyal Highlights the Problems of the visually impaired fraternity like upgradation of the Louis Braille Memorial school from 8th to 12th class because only single school is running for sightless girls in entire UT and strength of the students increasing day by day and number of visual impaired students not getting the admission due to lack of the space and accommodation of the school he also demanded adjoining land should be allocated for the school so that such type of students get the admission without any problem. Mr badyal pointed out the Problems of the unemployment of the
qualified, Specially abled youth. Honourable chief guest GN Azad listen all the problems carefully and he ensured that all problems will be solved shortly and we will try to approach to the concerning authorities together and my doors are always open for you .SUPERINTENDENT OF BLIND SCHOOL BOYS MR. VIKRANT SHARMA ,the principal of L B M school mrs.navedita and all staff members actively participated in the program and did all arrangements executive members of the federation and other guests were present in the program after the program chief guest and all guest of honour celebrated the lohri festival among the specially abled peoples which was historic and exciting moment.
