Jammu, Jan 6 : Directorate of School Education Jammu on Saturday announced extension in winter vacations ‘in view of extreme cold weather conditions’.

The DSEJ in an order said that the winter vacations of Government/Private recognised schools functioning in Summer Zones of Jammu Division, ordered on 18-12-2023 are further extended till 12-01-2024.

 

“However, all the teaching staff shall resume their duties w.e.f 08-01-2024 and HOIs shall ensure classes for Class 10th to 12th through online mode during the extended vacation period”.

 

“Any laxity in this regard from any Government/Private School shall be viewed seriously and dealt under rules”, reads the order further. (KS)
