SAMBA, JANUARY 3: Today, the urban expanse of Vijaypur Tehsil witnessed the triumphant execution of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a grand initiative by the Government of India aimed at informing and inspiring citizens about its flagship schemes and programs. The Yatra is dedicated to ensuring the widespread participation of eligible individuals in these welfare initiatives.
The event garnered a substantial turnout from diverse backgrounds, with enthusiastic residents welcoming the IEC van to their localities. Engaging in various entertaining and educational activities, including quizzes, games, and interactive sessions, attendees increased their understanding and appreciation of the Government’s schemes and services. They also listened to Hon’ble PM Modi’s message, inviting them to join the mission of constructing a developed India by 2047. Participants took the Sankalp pledge, dedicating themselves to the vision of a prosperous and developed nation.
The event provided a platform to beneficiaries to share their success stories through the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” initiative. These accounts highlighted positive changes, such as improved health, increased income, enhanced education, and a boost in dignity. The local school students showcased their talents through songs, dances, skits, and poems.
On-site services, including health camps, eye check-ups, Aadhaar enrollment, bank account opening, and gas connection registration, were also offered. The event garnered the attendance of PRI representatives, who commended the Government’s efforts in reaching out to the people and addressing their needs and aspirations.
