KULGAM, JANUARY 03: Continuing the endeavors to ensure early redressal of grievances and issues of people at their door steps, the District Administration Kulgam today organized public outreach programmes as part of weekly Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D.H Pora.

 

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat took appraisal of issues of people in grievances redressal camp held at Kulgam.

 

The grievance redressal programme witnessed participation of people from Khaloora, Qaimoo Naibasti, Hadigam, Shouch, Khandipora, Mohammadpora, Liroo, Mirhama, Kakran and other areas who put forth various developmental and welfare demands before the chair.

 

PRI members from various areas also projected developmental demands of their areas.

 

Officers and heads of departments responded to the queries and grievances of the people pertaining to their departments and intimated them about various welfare schemes and ongoing developmental projects.

 

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public issues raised during the camp addressed some grievances of the immediate nature on the spot and assured to take rest with the concerned quarters for their timely redressal.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the DC urged the people to make judicious use of electricity.

 

ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, ACR Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, JDP Zahid Sajjad, ACD Mohammad Imran, ACP Sharjeel Ali and other district officers and officials were also present in grievances redressal camp.
