KULGAM, DECEMBER 17: As part of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), the Information Education and Communication (IEC) campaign began in 07 wards of the Municipal Council of Frisal, Kulgam district.

 

The Additional District Development Commissioner, Showkat Ahmad Rather also participated in Yatra at Frisal Kulgam.

 

ACD, Mohammad Imran; Tehsildar, EO and other officers and officials of line departments also attended the programme. Besides, the event also witnessed overwhelming public participation.

 

Stalls were set up by various departments to aware the people about their schemes and programmes besides on spot registration counters were also setup by the departments.

 

During the programme, video messages of the Hon’ble Prime Minister and other promotional videos were also screened on IEC van.

 

Officers and officials continued to aware people about government schemes and interacted with people and motivated them to register for schemes and get benefits under various employment and welfare based schemes.

 

Beneficiaries, who have availed services, also shared their experiences under Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani initiative and expressed gratitude for the seamless services delivery.

 

Officers and officials remained busy in IEC activities in an effort to reach the unreached population in urban areas today.
