Today on 16th december Firdous dramatic club organised a theatre play “Rishte” at Baitul Meeras down town srinagar. The artists of same club excellently performed in this play. The play was presented by ministry of culture under a scheme CFPGS.This play was written by eminent play wright of J&K Dr Sohan Lal Koul and the same was directed by Hassan Javed. This drama highlighted the brotherhood and harmonial relations between kashmiri pandits and muslims of kashmir. The play depicted the nostalgic and valuable relations of pandits and muslims of kashmir. All the artists gave their best performances. The roles played by senior artist Qazi Faiz, Hassan Javed, Shaheena Reshi, Basharat Hussain and Fayaz Ahmad was worth to mention. The performances of all the artist was appreciated by the audience and they gave a huge applause. Sh Zameer Ashai a well known TV and film personality was the chief guest on the occassion and large no. of people especailly drama lovers and artists were also present. On this occasion drama lovers said that these plays should be organised in every district of UT especially Abhinav theatre of Jammu so that the divide between two communities is reduced and a message is spread that two communities of indispensable part of kashmiri culture. Audience at this moment priased Firdous Dramatic Club for such a great initiative. After the conclusion of the theatre play Hassan Javed, president of Firdous Dramatic Club thanked Ministry of culture Govt of India for conducting this play in srinagar. He also thanked audience for witnessing this drama inspite of cold weather conditions.
