Distt Admin is in touch with Shimla Admin to bring bodies to native villages: Dr Bilal
KULGAM, DECEMBER 04: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat expressed grief over deaths of Kulgam residents in a road accident at Shimla.
He said the District Administration Kulgam is in touch with Shimla Administration for transportation of last remains of all the deceased to their native villages.
It was informed that six workers from Kulgam district died, and as many were injured in a road accident in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh today on Monday morning at 7am when a vehicle, they were travelling in, fell into a gorge in Sunny Kangal Kararghat.
The deceased have been identified as Fareed Ahmad Deedar, (24), Gulam Hussain Gorsi (43), Shabir Ahmad Deedar, (19), Talib Hussain Tinda (23), Gulzar Ahmad Deedar (30), and Mushtaq Ahmad Dedar (30)—all residents of Kulgam District.
The injured persons identified as Manzoor Ahmed S/O Bashir Ahmed Denda 20, Talib Hussain S/O Ab Gani Denda 23 both from Kulgam; Aslam S/O Ismail Deeded 24 from Anantnag and other injured are currently under treatment at the Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital (IGMCH).
