Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held in 6 Panchayats of Keller block of Shopian

SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 26: On day two, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) was held today in 6 Panchayats viz. Barthipora A&B, Chown, Batmuran, Dairo and Doompora of Keller block to ensure saturation of flagship schemes of the government and to generate awareness on various welfare policies and schemes.

The Yatra is a significant step towards the direction of achievement of universal coverage of eligible people for scheme benefits.

On the occasion, Nodal Officers briefed the participants on various beneficiary oriented schemes of their respective panchayats and highlighted government programmes.

Comprehensive health screening was held, besides online registration of eligible beneficiaries for Ayushman Bharat, along with drone demonstrations, aadhaar authentication, banking services and other on spot services were conducted.

These camps also focused to mitigate all the issues to avail the financial incentive of all the ongoing schemes of various departments.

The people of these Panchayats warmly welcomed the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programmes and participated in them in large numbers.

Meanwhile, a series of cultural programmes were presented by the School-going children and other cultural parties depicting rich Kashmiri culture.

On the occasion, stalls were also installed by different departments for general awareness of the schemes.
