3 new JKRTC Buses introduced to improve transport facility in Doda District

DODA, NOVEMBER 22: District Administration Doda is taking every step to improve roads, provide better transportation facilities, make the public aware regarding road safety measures and traffic rules and conduct traffic checking to enforce the rules for the safety of the commuters.

In furtherance to these efforts, the District Administration, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh, introduced three new Jammu Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) buses for Doda-Jammu highway, Doda-Batote and Doda-Marmat roads.

The 32-seater bus for the Pul Doda-Batote route was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh and SSP Abdul Qayoom, while another 32-seater bus from Doda to Jammu was flagged off by President Municipal Council Doda, Ved Parkash Gupta.

The launch of new buses in the already existing fleet of JKRTC Buses will enhance the transportation facilities for commuters. The aim of this initiative is to provide better and safer means of travel to the residents and visitors travelling to the District. The three newly introduced buses will significantly improve the transportation network and cater to the growing needs of the passengers.

The District Administration and JKRTC are committed to continually improving and expanding its services to meet the evolving needs of the public. These newly launched buses are part of the efforts to enhance connectivity, reliability, and passenger satisfaction.
