Ganderbal, November 10: In a fervent appeal to the Lieutenant Governor’s Administration and officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department (JKPDD), BJP District President Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah has raised concerns about the persistent issue of unscheduled power cuts in the district of Ganderbal. With the onset of winter, residents are grappling with harsh weather conditions, making the need for a reliable power supply more critical than ever to lighten up their homes during long nights. Mohammad Amin Shah, a prominent figure in the BJP and a resident of Ganderbal, has urged the LG Administration to intervene and implement measures to alleviate the burden of unscheduled power cuts on the local populace. Speaking passionately about the challenges the people of Kashmir faced during the tough winter months, Shah highlighted the pivotal role electricity plays in making their lives more bearable.
“Electricity is not just a convenience; it’s a lifeline for the people of Kashmir, especially during the unforgiving winter. Unpredictable power cuts add an additional layer of hardship to an already challenging situation,” Shah expressed. Shah emphasized the need for the LG Administration and JKPDD officials to collaborate and devise effective strategies to minimize power disruptions. He stressed that the reliability of the power supply is paramount for the well-being of the residents, who heavily depend on electricity for lighting and other essential activities.
“I appeal to the authorities to prioritize the concerns of the people of Ganderbal and work towards ensuring a stable power supply. This would not only ease the daily lives of the residents but also contribute to the overall welfare of the community,” Shah added. The harsh winter conditions in Kashmir make uninterrupted power supply crucial for the residents, as they rely on electricity to combat the biting cold. Mohammad Amin Shah’s plea resonates with the sentiments of many in Ganderbal, who hope that the LG Administration will take swift action to address the issue and bring relief to the community.
