Kala Utsav celebrates creativity and culture: A national competition that displays the artistic talent of India.

HAJINAR, KARNAH: Zone level Kala Utsav competition, a national event that celebrates the rich cultural and artistic heritage of India, is celebrated at Army Goodwill school Hajinar today on 8th of November 2023.The Kala Utsav competition is an initiative that brings together students from across the different Schools of Tangdhar Zone to showcase their artistic skills and cultural prowess. Almost Nine Schools including high and higher secondary schools along with 15 escort teachers participated. This event has become a significant platform for young artists to express their talents, gain recognition, and inspire others with their creativity.
This year, Kala Utsav aims to foster a deeper appreciation for India’s diverse cultural heritage and provide a platform for students to explore and celebrate their artistic abilities. The competition encompasses various art forms, including dance, music, visual arts, and literature, and encourages students to delve into traditional and contemporary interpretations of these art forms. In today’s event various activities were organised which includes Vocal Music (Classical/ Folk), Instrumental music (Percussive/Melodic), Dance (Classical/Folk)
Visual Art (2D/3D),
Indigenous Toys and Games, Drama (Solo acting). The Kala Utsav competition is not only a celebration of art and culture but also an opportunity for students to develop their self-confidence, teamwork, and creativity. It serves as a platform for nurturing the future cultural ambassadors of India.
