The Indian Army, in a commendable effort to foster community engagement and promote sports, organized an Inter-School Girls Cricket Competition *first time ever* in Dawar, Gurez. This initiative aimed to provide young girls from the region with an opportunity to showcase their cricketing talent and empower them through the spirit of sportsmanship.

2. Impact on Civilians:
The initiative had a significant positive impact on the civilian population of Dawar, Gurez. It offered a platform for local girls to participate in a traditionally male-dominated sport, breaking gender stereotypes and encouraging their active participation. 3. Number of Civilians:
The competition witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 80 young girls from 07 schools in the region. Additionally, teachers, and Indian Army personnel (03-01-10), the local community actively supported and cheered for the participants. The tournament was organised in a knockout format at Dawar Stadium.

4. Overall Social Impact:
The Inter-School Girls Cricket Competition had a multi-faceted social impact. Firstly, this kind of initiative was *first of its kind* to be organised in Dawar by Indian Army. Secondly,it encouraged physical fitness and mental well-being among the participants, contributing to a healthier lifestyle. Thirdly, it served as a platform for talent identification and development, potentially opening doors to future opportunities in sports.
