The event witnessed a significant turnout of students from both government and private schools, who participated in the Ekta Diwas Mini Marathon under the banner of “Run for Unity.” The students donned patriotic attire and caps featuring patriotic slogans. During the marathon, the students passionately chanted slogans related to food safety and the consumption of millets while advocating the avoidance of sugar, salt, and junk food.

The Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Vishesh Mahajan, and SSP Doda, Abdul QAYOOM, graced the occasion with their presence. The event commenced with a unity and integration pledge led by the DC Doda, involving all district officers, police officers, and students. Following the pledge ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner of Doda flagged off the Ekta Diwas Mini Marathon, which included students from various schools and NCC cadets.
