DGP Jammu and Kashmir Shri Dilbagh Singh inaugurated Model Police Station named after martyr Shaheed *Dy.SP Himayun Muzzammil Bhat in Mattan, Anantnag. The
Model Police station at Mattan aims to improve Policing and law & order in the area. It has been equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness. The Model Police Station is expected to serve as a benchmark for other Police stations in the district and inspire them to upgrade their infrastructure and services.
Overall, the visit of the DGP and the inauguration of the Model Police Station in Mattan highlight the efforts of the Police department to modernize and improve Policing in the district. It is expected that the new facility will contribute to a safer and more secure environment for the residents of Anantnag.
Besides DGP, ADGP Kashmir Shri Vijay Kumar, ADGP HQRS Shri Manish K Sinha and former IGP Shri Ghulam Hassan Bhat (Father of Shaheed Dy.SP Himayun Muzzammil Bhat), DIG SKR Shri Rayees Mohammad Bhat, DDC chairman Anantnag Shri Mohd Yousuf Gorsi, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Shri Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, SSP Anantnag Shri Dr.G.V.
