India has the largest youth population and roughly accounts for 66 of the people below 35 times. In India, every third person is an immature person (15- 24 times). The population size of immature people in J&K is about2.50 million, which fluently explains the focus on youth. Young delegates from various G20 countries participated in the conference where LG Sinha said that massive participation in the Y20 Consultation conference signals the encouraging prospect of a new energy in a global cooperation on terrain, development and our cooperative trouble to follow equity, substance and better quality of life for all. Mission youth is an each- inclusive program to bring the interests and commission of youth to the centre of policymaking.
It has been set up as a devoted agency by the J&K Government to concurrently achieve the two pretensions of mobilising the rich demographic tip and converting the youth into emissaries of invention, peace, and development through various involving in youth. It’s important to note that Kashmir has been subject to turmoil for several decades. The turmoil in Union Territory has affected the quotidian lives of the people, including the youth, who have had limited openings for education, employment, and profitable growth. The part of youth is critical in shaping the future of societies and the world. The G20 recognizes the significance of engaging with immature people to promote sustainable profitable growth, social development, and global governance. The G20 had been emphasising the need for youth participation and engagement in policymaking and decision- making processes. In recent times, there have been sweats to address the challenges faced by the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendera Modi has executed a number of schemes and enterprise aimed at promoting the socio-profitable development of the region, including the youth. For case, the Government launched a special education scheme for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to give them with openings for education and skill development. The youth of Jammu and Kashmir can contribute to nation- structure by engaging in education and skill development, entrepreneurship, and social and political activism. They can partake in original and public governance structures, advocate for their rights and interests, and work towards erecting peaceful and inclusive communities.
The term youth does not simply represent an age group but also a period of an existent’s life and a condition. It means a system of attitudinal and behavioural patterns. United Nations Organisation (UNO) defines youth as individualities between 15- 24 times of age. But this is not obligatory; nations can determine their age group. At present, about half of the global population is below the age group of 25. The maturity of this population lives in developing nations. The youth of J&K is no exception, and they also want to contribute to the development of society. But this process was hindered in J&K due to the terrorism abetted and supported from across the border, leading to profitable instability, severance, poverty etc.
The revolution erupted in late 1989, and people endured continuous protests, shutdowns, curfews, killings, etc. The youth was caught in a vicious cycle of violence and query. All the enterprise launched under the Mission Youth are specifically needleworker- made for immature people, perceived on the rearmost, innovative lines and executed through the bottommost ways. Considering that these interventions could strike a passion with the youth, this has been done. Mission Youth, thus, has been perceived by the youth as a salutary action with which they devotedly involve themselves. Different programmes are formulated under Mission Youth to positively engage the youth through amulti-rounded strategy involving all necessary regular interventions. Every panchayat in J&K has a Youth Club to address all the enterprises of the youth.
The organisation envisions converting demand- driven interventions for inclusive youth development, including furnishing livelihood generation, skill development, education, assuring & rehabilitation, and sports and recreation installations. Tore- integrate the ‘Awaam’ with the public mainstream and deaden the deputy war abetted by Pakistan. Indian Army launched Operation Sadbhavana in J&K to address the aspirations of locals. Operation Sadbhavana is to advance the overall fundamental social pointers of Education, Women & Youth commission, and Health cares with a simultaneous thrust on capacity structure through the performance of structure development systems. India has launched various enterprise for youth of J&K.

The Government has expedited the performance of formerly being schemes on priority and several innovative measures and interventions have been introduced.
