NEW DELHI, Oct 25: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today.
“Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Manoj Sinha met Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the PMO said in a post on X.

Office of LG J&K wrote on X that LG Manoj Sinha wished the Prime Minsiter a blissful Vijaya Dashmi during the meeting.

Sinha presented ‘Kong Posh’ (Saffron Flowers) to the Prime Minister on behalf of the people of Jammu and Kashmir
A photograph on the X account of the office of LG showed LG Manoj Sinha presenting a Kashmir Paper machie bowl of saffron flowers to Modi.

Meanwhile, Sinha also called on Union Minister for Railways, Communications & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw.
They discussed a wide range of issues related to IT sector, especially the implementation of Bharat Net Phase- III to provide digital connectivity to remote and difficult areas.

Sinha had said in Jammu on Monday that security situation in the Union Territory has improved significantly and terrorism is “taking its last breath” there.
