After fresh snowfall authorities suspends traffic movement on Karnah-Kupwara road

Karnah, Oct 17: Authorities on Tuesday suspended traffic movement on the road connecting Karnah to Kupwara following fresh snowfall.
An official said that It is still snowing at Sadhna pass Since yesterday and the traffic movement has been suspended on the road as a precautionary measure.
As per the official record, 4-5 inch of snow was recorded at Sadhna top while plain areas of the Karnah have received heavy rain.
Due to the fresh snowfall at Sadhna top, the Karnah- Kupwara road has been closed for precautionary measures, If there will be an improvement in the weather then hopefully road will be reopened for traffic movement, official added.
