Kupwara, Oct 9: In a big relief for Tarathpora residents, Indian Oil Company(IOC) has opened its first filling station at Daril Tarathpora.

“SANA Filling Station” at Daril Tarathpora was inaugurated today by Haji Gh. Hassan Mir and Alhaj Zoona Begum (Parents of Hilal Ahmad Mir, ACD Kupwara) in presence of several prominent citizens of the area.

Earlier, there used to be fuel scarcity in the area as locals and commuters had to travel Kupwara ,Handwara or Kralpora (20Km to 25 Km distance )to fetch the petrol and diesel for their vehicles.

Proprietors of SANA Filling station on the ocasion said that now petrol and diesel will become more accessible and affordable for the residents of Tarathpora and it’s adjoining areas.
Residents have expressed their gratitude to the proprietors for opening the fuel filling station at Tarathpora which will cater to a large population of the area.
