DODA 21-Year-Old Youth from Doda Dies After Hit-and-Run Incident in Jammu

Oct 05 :In a tragic incident that unfolded on Wednesday evening, a 21-year-old youth hailing from Doda district, identified as Imtiyaz Hussain, lost his life after being struck by an unknown vehicle in the Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu. The young man was subsequently rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries

The incident, which occurred at approximately 10 pm on Wednesday, has raised concerns and prompted an ongoing investigation by police. A police official has confirmed the incident to The Chenab Times and assured that efforts are underway to apprehend the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.

Imtiyaz Hussain, the deceased, was the son of Ghulam Hussain and a resident of Sarsi in the Doda district. The tragic turn of events left his family in profound grief and disbelief. Family sources have disclosed that they had travelled to Jammu to receive Imtiyaz’s body on Thursday, a heartbreaking journey to bid their final farewell
