Teethwal Karnah, October 2, 2023 – In a poignant celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, the village of Teethwal Karnah, nestled along the Line of Control (LoC), witnessed a day of unity, culture, and community engagement. Organized by the Reechmaar Regiment of the Indian Army and Shakti Vijay Bridge, the event brought together locals, students, and soldiers for a day of festivities.
The centerpiece of the celebration was a marathon organized by the Reechmaar Regiment and Shakti Vijay Bridge. Participants from the local community, including students, enthusiastically joined the marathon. Symbolizing Gandhi’s emphasis on non-violence, the event also featured a “Peace Race” where participants ran to promote peace and harmony.Cultural Activities: Beyond the marathon, the day was filled with vibrant cultural activities.
