Glittering function held at Srinagar’s Balhama under “Meri Maati, Mera Desh”

Srinagar, Sep 24: A massive function was held in Balhama area of Srinagar under Meri Maati Mera Desh initiative where BDO Khonmoh Shivam Chandra , DDC member Er Aijaz Hussain, BDC member Ghulam Hussain and locals of the area including CRPF officials participated.

The program was held under Mera Maati Mera Desh and was organised by CRPF 15th Bn in Balhama in which top CRPF officials participated. BDO Khonmoh Shivam Chandra was Chief guest on the occasion while DDC member Er Aijaz Hussian was Guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Er Aijaz said that his love for the nation was unconditional and unlimited. He said every effort is being put in to serve the country through generous efforts and people too are quite enthusiastic to participate in massive campaign being held under “Meri Maati Mera Desh”

CEO 15 battalion CRPF AK Singh In his address said that CRPF has always been committed to serve the people of whole area. This is great that people of all walks of life are coming together to celebrate #MereMatiMeraDesh irrespective of religion caste and creed and we all together belong to this nation and should together strive to work for welfare of our nation.BDO Khonmoh Shivam Chandra said that Balhama will have a state of the art public park and the land for the same has been identified and will be dedicated to public in coming days and he also said that our soil is pious and it is duty of every individual to safeguard interests of our soil and remembered the martyrs who laid down there lives for our nation.DDC member Er Aijaz thanked the BDO, BDC member and CRPF officials for making the function a success with active participation of hundreds of locals of the area adding that such functions will continue in the weeks ahead.
