Symbolic Yatra for Cross-LoC Heritage and Religious Tourism: Save Sharda Committee Kashmir’s Charri Mubarak Yatra

Save Sharda committee kashmir regd took out a charri Mubarak yatra from newly built sharda temple to whiteline bridge on eve of Sharda ashtami today. Whiteline bridge is the last point dividing India & PoK at TCP Teetwal. Hundreds of yatris from all over country led by about 100 kashmiri pandits started the symbolic yatra at 10:30 AM and marched towards LoC crossing point. The banner called for cross LoC heritage and religious tourism. The kashmiri pandits were seen chanting kashmiri bhajans all along the route. Earlier the yatris took a holy dip in kishenganga river ghat, which has been earmarked by district administration for a permanent bathing ghat. Later a prize distribution function was held in Shan-e-Teetwal ground for T20 Sharda mata invitation cricket cup. The function was presided over by GOC Kupwara Maj. Gen. Girish Kalia. Save Sharda committee president Ravinder Pandita & noted Karnah journalist Peerzada Syed were awarded on the occasion. Teetwal XI and Hajinar gaints were awarded the rolling trophy for winner & runner up. Notably they defeated 2 teams Kashyap Paras & Milchar sanaskar teams who had come from Delhi NCR to take part in the tourney.
