GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 21: Different delegations led by former MLA Ganderbal, Ishfaq Jabbar today called on the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir and raised various local issues with him.

The delegations from Barsoo apprised the DC about the rehabilitation of tenants whose shops come under the ring road project.

The delegation from Watalbagh, Gangerhama and other areas apprised the DC that they have been hit by the auction of the nallah Sindh. They demanded that they should be allowed to do their labour work. They also demanded fixation of rates etc.

On the occasion, the former MLA demanded construction of the 2nd phase of the Gangerhama-Wahidpora road through NABARD.

The DC while interacting with the delegations assured them that the issues raised shall be taken up with the concerned authorities. He also assured them redressal of their grievances.
