18th September 2023: 29 Bn, CRPF, Srinagar Sector has always been a front runner in providing helping hand to the civil population. Under the aegis of Civic Action Drive of Srinagar Sector, CRPF, 29 Battalion organised a free Medical camp at Badshah Colony (Football ground), Sanat Nagar on 18/09/2023 from 0830 hrs to 1230 hrs. The camp was inaugurated by Shri Pradipta Kumar Sahu, Commandant-29 Bn in the presence of Shri Anil Kumar Jha, 2-IC, Shri Jitendra Kumar, 2-IC, Shri Chanchal Parwana, Dy. Commandant, Dr. Isma Maqsood, Dr. Salma Nabi and Dr. Anjum Reshi and other Officers of the unit. In this Medical Camp, a total of 175 patients were checked in OPD and distributed with free Medicines. The Medical Camp received overwhelming response from the locality and from the adjoining areas. Shri Abdul Rashid Alayee, President Jamia Masjid, Goripora, Sanat Nagar also graced the site and extended his assistance in helping the locals. This small effort of 29 Bn, CRPF has been widely appreciated by the locals. Shri Pradipta Kumar Sahu, Commandant-29 Bn, CRPF, in his message, said that,”It is a small step towards winning and healing the hearts of the locals and 29 Battalion, CRPF will continue to organise such events in future also.”
