Fire and Emergency services J&K Conducted fire safety awareness programme at GDC Kandi Karnah

On the directions of Director General Fire and Emergency services J&k Shri Alok Kumar IPS and Assistant Director Fire and Emergency services Command Kupwara Er Mohd Arif Mir . Today, the Department conducted an awareness program on fire safety at Govt Degree College Kandi Karnah. The fire officials emphasized the importance of contacting them during fire incidents, road accidents, and flood rescue situations. During the program, the fire officials demonstrated practical tips to the students on fire prevention and what to do before the fire department arrives at the scene of an incident. They also provided hands-on training on how the general public can assist the fire department during rescue operations in case of any disaster. It’s great that they’re empowering people to take action and help out!

The college staff and students actively participated. The college principal Dr Haroon Rashid and the students of college expressed gratitude towards the fire department for conducting such beneficial programs.

The awareness programme team is headed by SO Gh Mohi u din Mir and Ghulam Mohd Sheikh Leading fireman , the other employees which are the part of this team are Shabir ahmed MD, Khurshid ahmed leading fireman, Kalim Danish Sg fireman, shabir ahmed Sgfireman , Sajad Ahmed Fireman , Faisel Maqsood fire man.

Mean while , the fire official express gratitude towards the college principal and students for giving their precious time for this programme, and they said that General public should contact to the fire department in any emergency and also urged people to maintain the fire safety measures in their homes and be a responsible citizen.
