Poonch Administration collaborates with MEA Empanelled Agents to organize one-day overseas Rozgar Mela
POONCH, SEPTEMBER 06: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik convened a meeting today with officers to review and finalize the arrangements for the upcoming overseas Rozgar Mela.
Deputy Director Employment, Rafiq Hussain, District Information Officer, Ayaz Ahmed Butt, Tehsildar ( Hqr. Asstt), Jhangir Hussain, CEO Municipality, Mohammad Hanief, Principal ITI, besides other concerned officers were present in the meeting
The Administration of Poonch, in collaboration with MEA empanelled agents, is going to hold “One-Day Overseas Rozgar Mela,” scheduled to be held on 9th September 2023 in the Government Degree College Multipurpose Hall.
During the meeting, a comprehensive discussion took place on various key points, focusing on the smooth execution of the event. The topics covered included the allocation of rooms for agents at TRC Poonch, sanitation and cleanliness measures, the installation of a Public Addressing (PA) system, publicity and media coverage, uninterrupted water and electricity supply, provision of refreshments, and the availability of medical facilities, including ambulances.
Recognizing the importance of effective communication, the Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the District Information Officer to arrange for a Public Addressing (PA) system and ensure comprehensive coverage of the event through print and digital media as well as WhatsApp groups.
To ensure a clean and hygienic environment, the EO Municipality was tasked with overseeing sanitation and cleanliness at the event venue.
Furthermore, the PDD and Jal Shakti departments were directed to provide uninterrupted water and electricity supply on the day of the Job Fair Mela.
The Tehsildar Haveli was assigned the responsibility of arranging refreshments for the participants. Security arrangements were also discussed in detail, and necessary measures will be implemented accordingly.
The CMO was instructed to coordinate the provision of medical facilities, including ambulances and trained staff, to cater to the well-being of all attendees throughout the event.
The One-Day Overseas Rozgar Mela aims to connect job seekers with potential employment opportunities abroad, facilitating economic growth and offering individuals promising prospects for the future.
