GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 05: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today felicitated several teachers for their hard work during a function held in connection with the celebration of Teachers Day at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Ganderbal.

The event was attended by Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Majid Ahmad Kohli, Dy CEO, teachers and students.

While felicitating the teachers, the DC highlighted their role in mentoring the students and realizing the hidden talent of the students to help them make their mark in academics and beyond to achieve their desired goals.

CEO Ganderbal delivered introductory remarks and threw light on the importance of Teachers Day. He underscored the contributions of teachers in shaping the students career and channelizing their energies in the right direction.

Meanwhile, Teachers day was celebrated with enthusiasm and fervor in all educational institutions of Ganderbal, both government and government recognized private educational institutions. Different cultural programs were presented by students and best teachers were felicitated in all schools.
