Karnah // According to the eyewitnesses, a bear has collided with the electricity transmission line near karnah that travels from Kupwara to Karnah. As a result, it died due to electrocution. A huge crowd of people gathered to see the dead bear. The forest department officials took it to their hut and put it away. A herd of bears has started damaging the crops in Nachian village. As a result, there has been a wave of concern among the farmers. The people of these areas said that these wild animals have been destroying maize and other standing crops for the past several days. The local people have appealed to the wildlife department to take immediate steps to dispose of the bears that are damaging the crops in Karna so that they are not harmed.
