The focal point of this initiative was the vibrant gathering at Parla Joffer, where 27 children, 5 expectant mothers, and 6 lactating mothers convened. During this gathering, the audience received invaluable insights from Supervisor and DPO, shedding light on the significance of Poshan Maah and various essential aspects of the scheme.

Furthermore, the health and nutrition of the children were meticulously assessed through height and weight measurements, aimed at identifying any signs of Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) or Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM).

With unwavering determination, AWCs’ helpers were entrusted with the vital task of executing the Poshan scheme diligently and fostering close collaboration with other stakeholders in the community. DPO emphasized the pivotal role of punctuality within AWCs and underlined the imperative of providing nutrition to beneficiaries in accordance with established guidelines.

Subhash Chander Dogra’s visit and the subsequent engagement with the community not only underscored the commitment to the health of the future generation but also inspired a renewed dedication to the cause. The Poshan Maah initiative continues to be a beacon of hope and health for the region’s children and mothers, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
