SHOPIAN, AUGUST 30: The Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Shopian, who is Nodal Officer for Digital Week today chaired a meeting of officers to finalize arrangements for the celebration of Digital Week to be held from August 31st to 6th September 2023.
At the outset, ACD said that as the whole UT will be celebrating digital week, a Digi- Mela will be held in Shopian too, where all concerned offices shall set up their stalls and generate awareness about online services provided to the general public.
Digi- Melas shall also be held at all Sub Divisional, block levels of the district alongwith in schools and colleges of the district.
On the occasion, the Nodal Officer stressed for on spot delivery of online services to beneficiaries. He instructed concerned people to raise massive awareness about online services through involvement of PRIs, students and prominent citizens of Shopian district during the week.
He also asked the concerned for organising quiz programmes, painting competitions, debate competitions, nukad nataks etc at various educational institutions, colleges for generation of awareness regarding ongoing digital services in the district.
Instructions were given that awareness be generated through various platforms.
Among others, the meeting was attended by the Joint Director, Planning, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana; ACR Shahbaz Bodha and other district and sectorial officers of the district.
