Financial Literacy Camp held at Budgam

BUDGAM, AUGUST 29: The District Fund Office Budgam today organized a Financial Literacy Camp at Conference Hall DC office Budgam.

The camp was held on the directions of DG Funds J&K and JD Funds Kashmir and was presided over by Mohammad Asharaf, Chief Accounts Officer District Fund Office Budgam.

The participants from different departments including DDOs, representatives of the DDOs and general public were provided financial literacy in the event.

During the camp, experts from the Finance Department provided threadbare awareness to the participants regarding the functioning and working of various online applications operated by J&K Finance Department which include the Janbhagidari portal, Treasury Net, BEAMS, JKPaySys, Mera Vetan, Genprofit, GP fund , SLI , e-tendering, Gem portal etc. Detailed Training was imparted to participants as to how to access these platforms and take maximum benefit through these applications.

The Chief Accounts Officer also spoke on the occasion and welcomed the participants for taking part in the awareness camp. He highlighted the importance of online platforms offered by the Finance Department in easing out the pay and accounting work of the DDOs.

DTO Budgam and ACR Budgam participated as guest of honour on the occasion.
