Three day capacity building program for frontline Anganwadi Workers on NIPUN/FLN commenced Thursday at Bandipora.

The program was inaugurated by Principal DIET Bandipora, Abdul Majeed Dar.

In his inaugural speech, he emphasized the fact that Anganwadi workers are key stakeholders for the success of NIPUN initiative and universalization of elementary education.

The key note address was delivered by program coordinator Shamsul Yaseen Lone, Lecturer DIET Bandipora.

The first session of the day was delivered by Tanvir Ahmad Jan Sr. Academic officer SCERT-KD. He deliberated on the process of development and domains of development.

He stressed on the fact how Anganwadi workers and ICDS centers can play an important role in laying the proper foundation of the personality development of the Child.

The afternoon sessions were taken by Fatima Akbar and Mushtaq Ahmad sofi.

The training program was successfully moderated by Ishfaq Anjum Samoon Sr. Academic Officer SCERT –KD.
