A 35-year-old man died after he was hit by an unknown vehicle in Shalteng area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Monday evening.

An official told that Santosh Ram (35) Son of Ramayan Ram resident of Bettiya, Bihar Shalteng, pedestrian, hit by Chevrolet Beat (black) of unknown registration.

“He was immediately shifted to JVC Bemina where doctors declared him brought dead.

“Body is being shifted to GMC for medico-legal formalities”

He said signal flashed to PCR for identification of the vehicle. In this regard FIR has been registered and investigation taken up. (KS)
