F&ES Deptt celebrates 77th Independence Day at Srinagar

Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) department today celebrated the 77th Independence Day at F&ES Headquarters Batamaloo, here with great fervor and enthusiasm.

On the occasion, Director F&ES, Alok Kumar hoisted the National Flag .

The programme was attended by Administrative officer, Assistant Director, senior officers/officials of the department, Jawans of F&ES, school children as well as staff from various schools.

Addressing the gathering, the Director paid rich tributes to the Martyrs of the Nation who sacrificed their lives to mark India as an Independent and sovereign Nation.

During the celebrations, a skit was also performed by the Jawans of F&ES department regarding fire safety measures.

On the occasion, a drawing competition of School Children was also held in which the 1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders were awarded with trophies, medals and certificates by the Director.
