CRPF organizes mega 30 km, vehicle-mounted Triranga rally at Pampore, NH 144

Central Reserve Police Force’s 110 Battalion along with 185 Battalion CRPF organised a mega Tiranga rally at a stretch of around 30 km on NH44 and the old highway covering 30 kilometres in the Saffron Town Pampore, Sempora, Panthachowk, Lasjan, Lethpora and Barsoo with a motive to create awareness among the locals and school children.
Prior to the vehicle-mounted Tiranga rally, a small foot Tiranga rally with the children of Birla Open Mind International School Pampore was organised at the Galender area of Pampore. The splendid rally with more than 60 vehicles of CRPF was decorated with Tricolour to mark the beginning of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and to celebrate the Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar Ghar Tiranga Mission on the Independence of the nation, CRPF officials told .
The Tiranga rally was flagged off by jointly Commandant Yogesh Purohit and Commandant Arun Kumar Bharti who with great joice, zeal, motivation and enthusiasm participated in the mass rally along with senior officers from 110 Bn and 185Bn CRPF, local citizens of Lethpora area, school children and public representatives DDCs, etc of the area.

Different vehicles of CRPF decorated with the Tricolour of the country were special attractions of the rally for the tourists passing through the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
During the Tiranga rally, the CRPF officials also paid homage and tribute to the slain CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the Lethpora attack at the incident site and erected a 60-feet-tall National Flag on NH 44 near Galander 110 CRPF outpost.

Talking to Kashmir Reader, Commanding Officer 110 CRPF Yogesh Purohit said that the aim of the rally is to create awareness among all for the Tiranga and to motivate the locals, youths and school children and to have good coordination among the forces, administration and local population.
Pampore Police also organised a mega Tiranga Rally under the banner of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’, ‘Mitti Ko Naman, Veeron Ka Vandan campaign on Monday. The rally was flagged off by SDPO Pampore Krishan Rattan along with SHO Pampore Jazib Mohammad Bhat. Hundreds of students, teachers, personnel of police and CRPF and local residents participated in the event.

The police officials and police personnel and CRPF personnel amid slogans of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, ‘Ghar Ghar Tiranga’ ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ with tricolours in their hands, marched in the different areas of the Saffron Town Pampore celebrating the country’s Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, police officials told Kashmir Reader.
The rally commenced at Government Higher Secondary School Pampore and after passing through different areas including Namblabal, Khrew Chowk and Drangbal. It culminated back at Police Station Pampore, where all participated in the national anthem. Pampore Police led by SDPO Krishan Rattan and SHO Jazib Mohammad Bhat also felicitated families of martyrs at Police Station Pampore and Police Station Khrew.
Meanwhile, in Government Degree College Pampore, the NSS Unit in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sports organised a series of activities on Monday under the supervision of Principal Prof Dr. Huda Galzai. The college NSS Unit organized a pledge-taking ceremony (Panch Pran) in the college basketball court in which all the students and faculty members of the college participated actively, GDC officials told Kashmir Reader.
“On the completion of 75 years of Independence, we take a pledge to work for developed India and help it regain its rightful place as Vishvaguru by 2047, to remove any traces of colonial mindset, to take pride in our cultural and spiritual heritage, to strengthen the unity of our nation and protect it from disruptive elements, to carry out our duties as a citizen of this nation with honesty and to become central pillars that support India’s journey in the Amrit Kaal,” the participants vowed.
The college also organized a Tiranga rally in which all the students, faculty members and principal walked in unison flaunting the Tricolor.
