In the run -up of “Meri Mati, Mera Desh” campaign under the theme of ‘Mitti Ko Naman, Veero Ka Vandan’ the Deputy Commisioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan ( IAS) lead a impactful Yoga event in the lawns of DC Office complex Kupwara on Saturday Morning to promote the importance of physical and mental well-being through the practice of yoga.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan; ADC Kupwara, Gh. Nabi Bhat; CEO Kupwara, Abdul Hamid Fani; District Ayush Officer Kupwara, Raja Amjad Ali; Officers and officials of District adminstration along with students and CRPF personnel who eagerly engaged in various yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques under the guidance of experienced yoga instructor, Dr. Suhail Nazir.

The event was organized by the District Administration in collaboration with Department of Ayush and School Education Department.

The serene lawns of DC Office Complex Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of green thick forests of Kupwara and fragrance of flowers mesmerised the participants who immersed themselves in the practice of yoga, harnessing its numerous benefits for the body and mind.

The event served as a platform to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga, encouraging individuals to adopt it as an integral part of their routines. Participants learned about the importance of physical fitness, mental clarity, and the ability to effectively cope with stress through regular practice.
