Kulgam Encounter: All 3 Injured Soldiers Succumb: Army

Srinagar, Aug 5: All the three soldiers injured in a gunfight with militants in Halan forest area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district have succumbed, army said.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter, the Army’s Chinar Corps, stationed here at BB Cantonment, tweeted; “On specific inputs regarding presence of terrorists on higher reaches of Halan in Kulgam, operations launched by Security Forces on 04 Aug 23. In exchange of firing with terrorists, three personnel sustained injuries and later succumbed (sic.)”.
